Sal Cucchiara is a Managing Director and the Chief Information Officer of Wealth Management & Investment Management Technology for Morgan Stanley. He is responsible for the IT strategy as well as the design, development, delivery, and support of highly commercial systems that drive growth for all Wealth and Investment Management business lines. This includes the recently acquired businesses of E*TRADE, Shareworks (Solium), and Eaton Vance. Sal serves as a member of the Technology and the Wealth Management Operating Committees. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2016, Sal spent 20 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was the Chief Information Officer and Head of the Wealth & Banking Solutions Technology organization. Sal serves on the board of the Wall Street Technology Association, the National Center for Women & Information Technology, and the NewYorkCIO Advisory Board, and is a Technology Advisory Member for Year Up. Sal has an MBA from Fordham with a concentration in Information Systems, and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Scranton.
